There are over 7 billion people in the world, living incredibly diverse lives.

People of various ages and races inhabit this planet. Sometimes, the diversity across the globe can feel overwhelming. Right now, I'm watching a YouTube video of someone playing a game called Starcraft. It's entertaining to watch someone who's good at the game, even though I'm not skilled at it myself. There are also people on YouTube with close to 300 million subscribers. They are very young, and even though they started with only 2,000 subscribers four years ago, they're now the undisputed number one. I wish I could borrow money from them. There are smart, witty people, talented individuals, and artists, but there are also people who feel depressed or are isolated in rural areas. I ponder who I am and why I live the way I do. Many people reflect on their lives in a similar way. Why can't I live simply? It's agonizing. It's strange that even though many geniuses and philosophers in the past experienced a lot of stress, I'm neither a genius nor a ph...

Ants Perform 'Amputation Surgery' on Infected Comrade's Leg

In severe cases of injury, a body part may need to be amputated to prevent life-threatening infections. It has been discovered that ants also treat wounds and perform amputations based on the diagnosis, marking the first time such sophisticated surgical behavior has been observed in non-human animals. Professor Erik Frank from the Department of Animal Ecology and Tropical Biology at the University of Würzburg, Germany, along with a research team from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, revealed that Florida carpenter ants (Camponotus floridanus) increase their survival rates by performing precise "surgery" to amputate injured comrades' legs. The findings were published on July 2 (local time) in the international journal Current Biology . Ants' wound treatment behavior is not entirely new. A paper published last year reported that ants treat wounds by secreting antimicrobial compounds from specialized glands. The research team observed Florida carpenter ants, a...

'Reverse Driving Accident' Insurance Payout Expected to Reach 10 Billion KRW...Most of It is Lost Earnings** **'Reverse Driving Accident' Insurance Payout Expected to Reach 10 Billion KRW...Most of It is Lost Earnings** **'Reverse Driving Accident' Insurance Payout Expected to Reach 10 Billion KRW...Most of It is Lost Earnings

The driver responsible for the reverse driving accident at City Hall Station has comprehensive insurance that offers unlimited coverage for bodily injury to others. With nine fatalities, the insurance payout is expected to reach billions of KRW, primarily due to 'lost earnings' in addition to compensation for pain and suffering and funeral expenses. Lost earnings refer to the amount the deceased would have earned in the future had they not died. It is calculated by multiplying the deceased's average monthly income by the number of months they could have worked. While it varies case by case, typically, if a 30-year-old employee earning 4 million KRW per month dies in an accident, their lost earnings are calculated based on a retirement age of 65. This amounts to 640 million KRW in lost earnings, along with 100 million KRW in compensation for pain and suffering and approximately 5 million KRW in funeral expenses. Given that the deceased in this accident were in their 30s to 5...

Austrian Cathedral's 'Birthing Virgin Mary' Exhibit Sparks Blasphemy Controversy and Vandalism

On July 3rd (local time), according to The Washington Post and other sources, the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary in Linz, Austria, removed the sculpture 'Enthroned' by contemporary artist Esther Strauß on July 1st. The artwork was dismantled just a day after it was exhibited inside the cathedral because vandals broke in during the early morning hours and decapitated the statue of the Virgin Mary. The damaged artwork depicted the Virgin Mary sitting on a rock giving birth to Jesus, a stark departure from the traditionally beautiful and sacred depictions of Mary in religious art, which caused the controversy. In the sculpture, the Virgin Mary is shown with her skirt hiked up and legs spread in the typical position women assume during childbirth, with her face contorted in labor pains. Additionally, the sculpture did not idealize Mary's body, instead presenting a raw depiction of a pregnant woman's bulging belly and thick legs. Due to these reasons, the artwork drew critici...

I'm really struggling, please help me.

Why is life so hard, really?

It's midnight in Korea right now.

I survived another day. I went to an interview today, and it ended in just 3 minutes. It took me almost 2 hours to get to the interview location. Life feels so empty and miserable. Is it just me? Is this how life is supposed to be? It feels so strange. On top of that, the place where I had the interview has such long working hours that I wouldn't be able to work there anyway. If that was the case, they could have just told me over the phone! I feel so sad. Just breathing costs money, and living like this feels like hell. What will happen to me in the future?

It's currently 1:07 AM in Korea.

I am extremely poor right now, even in debt, so I'm living a negative life. It's absurd to live like this, even if it's a forced existence. There are so many wealthy people, but no one to help me. I am a developer. I learned coding late, but I find coding extremely enjoyable and fulfilling. I wanted to do this since I was young, but couldn't due to family circumstances... But now I am doing it. However, I have no money, so I have to go to work. There are few job opportunities, and mostly strange people. I really wish someone could sponsor me with money. Then I think I could live healthily and well. If anyone reading this could sponsor me, it would be great. If you want to sponsor me, please contact me

Did Bang Si-hyuk attend the New Jinse concert or not?

They must have once tried to become the person each other needed. However, why did Bang Si-hyuk and Min Hee-jin end up like this? The attacks towards Bang Si-hyuk from Min Hee-jin, who positions herself as the mother figure of New Jinse, are intensifying. She seems to be positioning herself as the underdog and stirring up public opinion. Initially, Min Hee-jin's chaotic press conferences trended to the point of gaining public support, but as her true intentions were revealed one by one, public sentiment became uncertain. Meanwhile, involving children (New Jinse) in adult fights continues to furrow brows. In the public eye, Min Hee-jin is dubbed as the 'mother of New Jinse'. In other words, she is perceived as the one who created New Jinse, but the reality is subtle. The birth of an idol group involves the most crucial and difficult task of finding and nurturing young talents. It's akin to giving birth to a child and sending them to daycare in the course of life. Bloomberg: "Chinese, Russian Firms Developing Combat Drones Together"

Bloomberg reported that Chinese companies are collaborating with Russian counterparts to develop combat drones similar to Iranian models deployed in the Ukraine conflict. Citing European intelligence sources, Bloomberg analyzed this development as a signal of potential Chinese support for Russia with the kind of lethal weaponry that Western officials have warned against. According to Bloomberg, companies from both countries held discussions last year related to replicating the Iranian Shahed drone and have begun developing and testing versions for shipment to Russia this year. Despite repeated warnings from the United States and its allies, if China proceeds to provide attack drones like the Shahed to Russia, Bloomberg speculated that it could face even stronger sanctions. Meanwhile, spokesperson Liu Pengyu of the Chinese Embassy in the United States issued a statement denying the reported content, stating that "China does not provide weapons to parties involved in the Ukraine co...

It is now past 1:46 AM.

I am currently very poor, but I cannot give up because of that. I will keep trying and trying. Without money, humans find themselves unable to do many things, yet people continue to cry out for money. I am so distressed by the thought of having to witness this throughout my life. Living in poverty is almost like living in hell. Since I don't want to live in hell, I will end up crying out for money as well. I think life is truly disgusting and difficult. What's so special about money? I wish I could earn it easily... haha.
